Yeah well I was saying if you already have Monero in your wallet, all you have to do is send it. If you have Bitcoin, just sending it normally will be public. But yeah you can just convert your btc, or you could buy XMR directly.

Everyone can sit here and reply about how he could have done xyz and still used bitcoin, but if he implements Monero, neither the sender nor receiver has to do anything special, and all the transactions will be private. That’s the point. The end. $XMR

There’s various pgp software you can choose I think, but I’ve always used gpg4usb because that worked the first time, so I’ve used it since. You could probably just search google and figure it out or if you message me I could explain how to use that one. It’s pretty easy

I forgot they did that. People always said Dream was bad news, but they were big and let everyone withdraw, idk how they got so much hate. When they shutdown they said “new market located here” but the new link never worked. Wonder if that was just distraction or something

I don’t understand, how does a YouTube video relate to people using empire? I’m saying empire is/was huge and made tons of money. It’s literally the biggest market! How can you say “who tf uses empire it’s 2020”? And if “tor is no safer than clearnet”, how does any of this exist?

And if they show up tomorrow, what will you say then? Nothing. There were people crying “exit scam” over a year ago, but obviously empire came back online. I’m just saying they handling this ddos shit forever and now that it has taken down the website you say “nope too late bye”

I’m not on their side, they could easily say “this is too much to deal with, we’re done”. I’m just saying, give them a chance. Maybe they will pull through.

Haha, I guess I kinda thought of that as part of the getting arrested option, but yes you are correct. Honestly the fact that empire is a copy of alphabay made me kinda suspicious of fbi, but I know sometimes market templates get passed around, so could just be that

You’re right, who uses a market that has more than 1.5million users and is printing money day by day

I think they wanted to but it was hard with all the ddos shit. Apparently they were paying $10-15k a WEEK to a person ddosing them. And then even after paying him there was other people ddosing the site. Also recently they improved btc function, this seems very unplanned.

Markets typically end one of two ways. 1. Arrested by law enforcement 2. Exit scam (website shutdown with users funds still on it) Only one time did a market rise to the top and then let users know they will shutdown (Agora). But, as he said, it was a golden age until now

Damn I tried to use it like last week but it was slow as fuck. The login page came up eventually but it was unusable. But that happens sometimes and I just try again later or the next day. Didn’t expect the market to disappear..... maybe they got sick of dealing with the ddos

It is a really bad idea to let the website encrypt your messages. What if something goes wrong or it doesn’t actually encrypt it? You can’t trust these markets, encrypt it yourself.

My friend always says “it’s all dead dude, nobody’s talking about it anymore”. Apparently because it’s not put right in front of his face, it no longer matters.
