Valid concern. They run their own miners and have their own pool. Likely have a PPA, say it's .035/kWh. They sell you a miner, charge you near double rate, you still end up ~.07/kWh, which is great, and they pay electric bill w/your money.
But you're right to question. Ask them.

Also note there is a marked difference between a reputable hosting facility a la Blockware, and "cloud mining" scams and the like. I feel like those two things get conflated often.
Obviously I would rather everyone was able to mine at home. But I'm also a realist.

Yeah bit pricey. Still, respected hosting facilities do exist, @Crazyk_031 for example uses @BlockwareTeam. It's hosted in US, but don't suppose that matters much, you can buy/host right there, get paid BTC.
Their rate is ~⅔ of mine, so implied ROI would be as well. Options 👍

May be true, but I'm not so sure we see a major breakthrough that enables difficulty to catch up very quickly. This profitability may last a while.
Where I live (US), buying an S19 95Th/s @ $10k, at current prices/difficulty, ROI= ~14 months at my regular residential rate.
