This is how you get people sending monero transactions to/from exchanges, not knowing that they've now doxxed their transaction. "But it was monero, that means it was private!"
Or using a wallet that doesn't protect your ip address.
Newbies are better off sending a "dumb" Monero transfer than a "dumb" Bitcoin transfer. By many, many orders of magnitude. That's what privacy adoption looks like. Not everyone is willing to follow a guide.
