How is the guy who sang "Brown Eyed Girl" still alive? Wasn't that song written like 100 years ago?

One major problem with @Airbnb reviews is that the worst experiences often end with a cancellation due to early departure and, in those circumstances, no review can be left.

This is a stupid part of NY reopening—“if restaurants put up physical barriers between tables, in which case they don't need to worry about the six foot rule.” 🤦🏻‍♂️— hello… it’s an airborne virus!!! #COVID19 gothamist.com/news/new-york-…

The tragic crisis in India is a reminder that we can only beat COVID-19 if we beat it everywhere. The United States is stepping up and providing relief and aid to our ally in this time of tremendous and heart-breaking need.

No one is right with predictions 100% of the time (I'm sure Nate, who does a great job, would agree), but @DrEricDing has been correct about COVID far more than not. The fact is if the government listened to Dr. Ding throughout this pandemic, we would be in much better shape.
This guy is a constant source of bad information. It went from 2.6% of sequences sampled to 3.4% which is well within the margin of sampling error. Also the overall number of cases is plummeting in NYC so the absolute number of P1 cases is likely steady or declining.

We spent a lovely day @BiscayneNPS it’s disturbing how close this park came to being commercialized and the environment here being completely destroyed. I’m so thankful for our National Parks!!!

This fancy campsite I'm in came with two adirondack chairs on the river. One for my head and one for my feet! 🙌

1/n Long thread, but of crucial importance. The COVID-19 situation in India is as dire as can be. And it is not just THEIR problem, as long as virus circulates in the world, it becomes EVERYONE'S problem. We live in a global society; viruses don't respect national borders.

I realize I made a mistake by telling people I was fully vaccinated already. I could have bought a few more weeks.

And I got J&J, so the main side effect is that nobody wants to be around me. 😂

It's great that the U.S. is doing so well at vaccinating. I hope it means we can do more to help other countries get vaccinated quickly, too. 🌎
