Going to pin my style guide to help everyone who is suddenly going to realize the labor movement exists and you're for some reason assigned to write about it. Also my previous pinned tweet which I wrote in a parking lot before my last in-person action before the pandemic started
Brett Banditelli's style guide to writing about labor: The AFL-CIO is a federation, not a union Unions are not the labor movement. The labor movement has more than unions Unions do not have bosses, they have elected officials You can use "rank and file" however you want

I'm about the locally baked, but this sounds like an A+ meat selection. Should have bought the deli and made it universal.
Replying to @banditelli
I worked at the deli that made the best Italian Hoagies I ever had. 3 Cooked Salami, 3 Provolone, 3 Genoa, 3 (spicy) cappacola, 3 pepperoni, 2 imported ham. Lettuce onion tomato. Oregano. On an Amoroso's roll.

As someone who was a 99er during the Bush recession and held a job throughout the pandemic I'm insulted by @SenatorTester's stance. The pandemic isn't over just until the virus is gone. The recession will continue for months to come.
Replying to @People4Bernie
It's a bipartisan stance

The youths don't remember the battle we had over standardized tests during Obama, many of us took up that mantel pretty hard with the Opt Out Movement The youths also don't remember the popularity of #yolo because we'll all die to climate change Anyway, this was 7 years ago

I cropped out the users IG name in the above pic because they're IG is locked now. IDK if they locked 7 years ago and never unlocked or what. I'm glad to see @JamaalBowmanNY has carried the flag into congress, but it's a battle I expect us to have under Biden. Get your #2s ready

BIG NEWS: The #AudubonUnion has the strong support of a majority of eligible staff! This morning we officially requested voluntary recognition from Audubon President @DrElizabethGray. We have made our choice clear, and management should respect that. Let’s get to work.

Republican attempts to get get anyone but rich people more more would be hilarious if they weren't so transparently cruel and self-serving.
The rush to somehow try and turn decent UI benefits into a political problem from Democrats feels like when a lot of the same people tried to say earlier this year voters were turning on Dems for not opening schools faster but then the polls were all like “no it’s fine”

It's funny how after decades of Democrats pretending that small businesses are their biggest constituents that small businesses are proving to be republicans. Bad sentence but you get the idea
