Thank you for following this and updating us. Please educate me on legal matters, someone. Can the courts enforce an injunction on this law to stop its effect until it can be appropriately adjudicated?

They can, a lawyer can even ask for an emergency injunction if there is credible risk of immediate harm. It’s unlikely this bill ever sees actual implementation because I would expect Chase to drop legal hell on them to stop it. The main worry here is the Supreme Court

yeah governors/presidents can veto a bill if it gets through both chambers of a legislature/congress, but then the bill will go back to the senate and the veto can be overridden with a two thirds super majority (i think? it's either 60 or ⅔)
