The people of Yemen are without water, electricity & fuel. Over half of Yemenis are hungry. It's the worst humanitarian crisis in the world. I join my colleagues in calling on @POTUS Biden to demand the Saudi government end the blockade & allow desperately-needed aid into Yemen.
400,000 Yemeni kids under the age of 5 could die from hunger this year. The Saudi government's blockade has created a humanitarian crisis. @RepDebDingell, @RepRoKhanna & I led a letter demanding @POTUS publicly pressure the Saudi government to immediately end their blockade.

I'm in tears reading these words by @sandlewoad, who's in her 11th day of a hunger strike to protest the U.S.' cruel support for the blockade on our homeland, #Yemen. Read her inspirational words here and urge @POTUS to #EndTheBlockade NOW. washingtonpost.com/opinions/…

“12 days of a hunger strike is long. I hope that those who are watching realize that the longer you are on a hunger strike, the longer that there are people actually dying in Yemen.” @IlhanMN fighting back tears calling for an end to the US-backed Saudi blockade of Yemen.

400K children will die by years end unless @POTUS acts to end the US/Saudi/UAE blockade of Yemen, no excuses.   To Iman, the hunger strikers, and @LiberateYemen – your courage and bravery inspires me every day. I’m with you all the way. washingtonpost.com/opinions/…

I urge the Biden administration to uphold its May 1st  deadline to  #EndThisEndlessWar
The lives of US troops have been commodified like shipping containers in Washington’s discourse on war. If we lose a couple dozen a year, so what? Mr. President, bring our troops home from Afghanistan.
