As I've said many times before, algorithmic stablecoins remain the stupidest idea in crypto. How many projects must crash and burn for people to realize this? coingecko.com/en/coins/fei-p…

This idea that bitcoin is the "north star" doesn't mean that it isn't a competition between stablecoins and CBDCs. "The better way to think about it is the acceptance and the adoption of an idea." Interview with @Citibank report co-author @malekanoms: coindesk.com/videos/recent-v…

Here's the first good Wall Street report on #crypto, which I helped co-author with smart people like @ShobhitMain. We went out of our way to write this report with the crypto industry, not at it. citivelocity.com/citigps/bit…

Dear @wallstreetbets: Please join us at #DeFi. #Ethereum doesn't discriminate bet "institutions" &"individuals." @uniswap won't prevent ordinary people from doing what every broker helped @softbank do. Unlike the SEC, DeFi doesn't assume billionaires are smart but you are stupid

Some #NFT artist should erect a digital statue to @BrianBrooksOCC as tribute to his time at the OCC. Few professionals have done more to further the cause of crypto in the past few years. His op-ed on DeFi is also great: ft.com/content/c1caca5b-01f7…

The year is 2005. Legacy payment rails are "pay per minute" copper phone networks and #stablecoins are Skype. Plan accordingly, and swiftly.

One way to understand what's happening with #crypto prices is as a reverse-Minsky Moment: the point at which years of pent up skepticism finally blows up. More on that thesis here: omid-malekan.medium.com/cryp…

As the price of #crypto heats up, so do the regulatory double standards. If physical cash was regulated the way the US Government wants crypto to be, it would look something like this omid-malekan.medium.com/if-c…

#TSLA going parabolic into S&P inclusion is one of my favorite markers of 2020. In the era of money madness, a $600B company with a 1300 P/E is not at all outrageous. Stocks, crypto, gold, bonds, suburban RE, all at ATH. But the Fed would like you to know there's no inflation.

Note to noob investors: charts that look like this don't end well. Us crypto folk would know. #tsla going parabolic into S&P500 inclusion is fascinating to watch. It might just break the market.

Crypto exchanges should introduce a new kind of limit order, one that lets people "sell when Roubini changes his mind." As far as fools are concerned, this one is the gift that keeps on giving.
